who has got one?
i think they ofer really good sounds and you can get a lot of stations.
and you?
I bought a DAB Digital radio last year when i was studying in Sevenoaks in England. Of course i was very happy with it because of the stations i could get. When i went to Cyprus i took it with me but i couldn't get anything. In Cyprus nobody knows what DAB is. I graduaded from Sevenoaks last year and now i study in Scarborough which is in England too. I can't get any DAB stations there either. When i looked on the internet for coverage it says that my area is not covered yet. so at the moment it's very useless for me as i can't use it where i live. By the way they are expensive as well. Mine was 120 pounds.
DAB is a good survice but it needs more development.
Hi it's me again. I know in the UK DAB is very well promoted and a lot of people use it at the moment but i wanted to know in which other countries DAB is used. I don't like the fact that is not used in Cyprus but who knows? One day it might develop there as well.
dab is used in canada but it is only carying terrestial fm stations. I think the system is slightly different, in that you can still use dab recievers bought in the UK[not sure if you would have to switch the outlet thingies[I'm braindead right now]], but it's worthless in my opp because it carries only terrestial fm stations, and not all fm stations are carried. Plus, you can only get your local stations, personally it'd increase the buying power 10fold if you could tune into any station in the country, there's enough slots on the dab dial for that.
In the UK there are stations only available on dab so people have to buy one to listen.
It's a good way of promoting it i think.
About Canada is interesting. Any other countries that use DAB?
